Rookie Mistakes
Feedback

When it comes to being an entrepreneur -- let’s face it -- we’re all rookies. At TVA, it’s our job to pick up those subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) nuances that can define the difference between getting funded and not. To our knowledge, there has never been an entrepreneur in the history of the world who has done everything right. Some were luckier than others and some were smarter than others, but ALL OF US have made mistakes. We’ve tried to assemble a collection of the more common mistakes in this section and offer them to you as our gift (Check back periodically, as we will be adding to this library from time to time).

The question is, do you want to make a mistake if you can avoid it? Wouldn’t you rather find new and creative mistakes that reflect your own personality and style? We agree. That’s why we’ve tried to assemble this library of standard, run-of-the-mill mistakes that we believe you’d like to avoid. We call them “Rookie Mistakes” because that is exactly what they are – well-intentioned “errors in thinking” that someone building a business for the first time just may not know. There’s no shame in admitting if you learned something here, we just hope that by offering these carefully selected topics, we’re doing our part to give back to the entrepreneurial community.

Just do us one favor. If one of our Rookie Mistakes helps you, please give us your feedback. It will definitely make our day! Thanks.
